Meet Eva
Forced into marriage at just 14 years old and raised in poverty by a single mother, Eva Angelina Romero’s journey is nothing short of the American Dream. Guided by faith and an unbreakable resolve, she rebuilt her life from the ground up becoming the first in her family to graduate high school and attend college, teaching high school southern history before channeling that same passion into building her own business. She became the first Latina to franchise with Century 21 in Tennessee, and alongside her husband Dr. Jaime Romero, co-founded Solace Oral Surgery & Implant Center, making history together in Nashville.
A mother of five and a proud resident of Old Hickory Village, Eva has spent years pouring back into the community. She volunteers with Hope Smiles, Interfaith Dental Clinic, and the American Red Cross, and is launching Project SHINE to bring free dental care to uninsured Nashvillians. Recognizing her expertise and passion for housing access, Governor Bill Lee appointed her as a Commissioner on the Tennessee Housing Development Agency where she has worked to make affordable housing a reality for Tennessee families.
Now Eva is bringing that same purpose to the Tennessee General Assembly. Running for State Representative in District 60 serving the communities of Old Hickory, Hermitage, and Donelson she knows these neighborhoods, she lives them, and she’s ready to fight for them.
